The Wow Elements in Ranbir and Alia Bhatt Wedding May 6, 2022 – Posted in: Blog

We can’t stop smiling since the most stunning and stylish B-town wedding has finally happened! Yes, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor have sailed the ship of everlasting grace in style.

We’ve all seen our fair share of romance and fairytale weddings while growing up, especially those celebrity weddings that inspired us to plan our own! And one such millennium wedding has taken place. Let us step into Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s fanciful world of a white wedding.

It’s hard to describe how weird it feels to marry the love of your life. Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor fell head over heels in love with each other from the hectic shoot schedules on the sets of Brahmastra to attending meals and parties together.

At Alia and Ranbir’s wedding, we noticed a few unique details and trendsetters:

1. ALIA BHATT’S AND RANBIR KAPOOR’S HERITAGE JEWELLERY

The couple went for a regal approach, wearing Sabyasachi Heritage Jewellery 2022, which provided glitz and shine to their ensembles. Alia chose statement sheeshpattis, chokers, jhumkas, and stacked Kada bangles made of diamonds, pearls, and polki. Ranbir finished off his ensemble with uncut diamonds from Sabyasachi’s Heritage Jewellery collection. He chose uncut diamonds, emeralds, and pearls for his kalgi, which he coupled with a multi-strand pearl necklace.

2. UNUSUAL METHODS RANBIR WORE DIAMONDS AS PART OF HIS ENSEMBLE.

On his wedding day, not only Alia but also Ranbir Kapoor kept his style and chicness in control! Ranbir sported the traditional diamond ear earrings and looked great in them. He even wore uncut diamonds throughout his ensemble! Ranbir Kapoor donned an embroidered silk sherwani with Sabyasachi uncut diamond buttons.

3. ALIA BHATT’S “X” CARAT WEDDING RING

Alia Bhatt was reportedly seen sporting a huge diamond (current assumption) ring shortly after the wedding. While some of us examine and calculate the value of “X,” the rest of us can comfortably accept the truth that “X” is a very large number, and our modest faces can only dream of such a thing in real life. Let’s face it, some of us have real obligations and weren’t born into the blue households of Bollywood’s Kapoors and Bhatts. If you want large diamond rings, a great piece of advice is to invest in Moissanite. It has the appearance of a diamond, and even the most experienced gemologist would have to examine it closely to discern the difference between a real diamond and Moissanite.

4. ALIA BHATT’S KALIRA

Kalira is a traditional Punjabi wedding dress. It’s wonderful how we accept diverse cultures and learn new customs, thus brides wearing kaliras are becoming more frequent these days, whether it’s for an Agarwal wedding, a Bihari wedding, a Bengali wedding, or a Marathi wedding. Because Alia and Ranbir’s wedding was a Punjabi affair, the kalira was undoubtedly one of the focal points of the bridal trousseau. Alia’s kalira was again adorned with the same infinity sign/number 8 pendant. Birds, clouds, and stars were also connected as charms.

5.ALIA INCORPORATED RANBIR KAPOOR’S LUCKY NUMBER ‘8’ IN VARIOUS WAYS

Ranbir’s jersey number is 8 and he wears it with pride. As a result, Alia made sure to include her beau’s lucky number ‘8’ in her wedding attire. Alia used the ‘8’ as a lovely infinity symbol (from her mangal sutra design to her Mehendi, kaleere, veil, and shirt embroidery).

Take a peek at Alia’s mangalsutra in the gallery below. Tell me if it’s the number 8 or the sign of infinity. Are you able to tell? The best hypothesis is that it’s the sign of infinity. Ranbir Kapoor’s lucky number is 8, which is also how the infinity symbol is written, so it could be a coincidence. Is there anyone who knows for sure? Perhaps Alia and Ranbir will reveal what happened. However, given what we know about the relationship, if the number 8 was the case, Ranbir should have worn something unique or lucky about Alia as well. We didn’t see anything, though.

6.THE WEDDING OF ALIA AND RANBIR JAIMALA

Because jaimalas are a significant element of the wedding ceremony, Alia and Ranbir chose a modest yet unique option. Instead of marigolds, roses, or foliage varmalas, they use baby’s breath and mogra for their Jaimalas. The delicate Jaimalas complemented the wedding’s overall tone and essence perfectly!

7. ALIA’S MEHENDI ENSEMBLE IS LONG-LASTING AND UNIQUE

Alia’s Mehendi was kept basic and fuss-free. The tale behind this costume, on the other hand, is quite unique! The dress is constructed in a sustainable manner since it is patchworked using the designer’s leftover bits from his previous 180 bridal lehengas. Banarasi brocades, jacquard, bandhani, Kachha Resham knots, and other leftover parts of bridal lehengas were featured in this patchwork silk appliques ensemble.

Manish Malhotra created the Lehenga (skirt) Alia wore during the Mehendi Function (the designer to the stars). It’s a one-of-a-kind pink “Upcycled” lehenga. (The term “upcycled” refers to a product that is “reused in such a way that it produces a product of a higher quality or worth than the original.”) It was a gorgeous flowing skirt with intricate and vast craftsmanship coupled with a halter neck sleeveless blouse with fine embroidery. The skirt alone reportedly took 3000 hours.

6.ALIA’S BLOUSE HAS BUTTERFLY DETAILING

The butterfly pattern embroidery in delicate work on Alia’s top was one of the nicest details we saw on the bride’s dress. While the saree and colours are signature Sabyasachi, the incorporation of butterflies in her blouse’s embroidery appeared to be a one-of-a-kind, customised feature.

Alia’s bridal ensemble was so striking because all of the small, even details that built up the complete ensemble were meticulously planned. We discovered a number of unique components of Alia’s stunning bridal ensemble that we can’t wait to share with you. Alia’s mangalsutra and Kaleeras, for example, each had a wonderful meaning hidden within them. Were you able to catch a glimpse of them? It’s fine if you weren’t; that’s why we’re here! Alia’s beauty is too much to handle, so be careful!
