Wow, Oscars are finally over and what an award ceremony it was! Who would have thought a collar made from yellow gold fronds could look as stunning as it did on Jessica Biel? This handcrafted gold collar sets the trend for ladies who’d like to add a little oomph to your look. As an alternative, you could also opt for collars of other metals such as silver, white gold, and pair them with diamonds for a little extra flair.

Now, this is a completely new trend but looks like it’s here to stay! We did see Ruth Negga’s head piece made from rubies before. But, there were others too, who stylishly flaunted their headbands.
The diamond headband by Salma Hayek made her look just perfect. Paired with a black gown and diamond ear piece, the headband sizzled through her black hair making it a great piece of jewellery for any evening function.
Janelle Monae decided to go with Elie Saab’s ‘Artemisa Crown’, which was designed with Swarovski crystals and brass swirls. The headpiece complemented her Elie Saab gown of the same shades of colour, making her look truly splendid!

No article on jewellery is ever complete without adding some spark of gold and that’s why we decided to end this post with the metal that’s loved by all. While Viola Davis made us all cry with her speech, we couldn’t help but notice her incredible gold ear pieces. The big gold studs paired with an elegant red gown beautifully graced her look.
